How the QR tools work

Every QR code tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Text you type — WiFi network names and passwords, contact details, phone numbers, links, messages — is used only to render the QR code on your screen. It is not uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server as part of generating your QR code.

File uploads

A logo you upload for a QR code is processed locally in your browser to overlay it onto the code image; it is not uploaded to a server. The optional "upload & host PDF" mode, when enabled, is the one exception — it requires storing your file so a scanned QR code can retrieve it. That mode is off unless explicitly configured with real cloud storage, and its own notice explains what's stored when it's active.

Analytics

This site also uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited. It does not receive the content you type into any QR code tool (WiFi passwords, contact details, messages, etc.) — that data never leaves your browser regardless of analytics. You can opt out using a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on , or by rejecting analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
